10:00 a.m. Divine Liturgy of St. Basil (note: Fr. Alexii will be gone weeks 3 and 5, no liturgy those days)

(5:00 p.m. Pan-Orthodox Vespers (various Orthodox churches in Kansas City))

6:00 p.m. Readers Vespers at monastery

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday

7:30 a.m. Matins, First, Third, and Sixth Hours (reading of The Ladder)

4:30 p.m. Ninth Hour, Typica, Vespers

6 p.m. Great Compline (Week 5 with Great Canon on Wednesday night)

Wednesday, Friday

Same as above, but Ninth Hour, Typica and Pre-Sanctified Liturgy at 2:00 p.m.

6:00 p.m. Friday Small Compline with Akathist *

Saturday

7:30 a.m. Matins, with Divine Liturgy (followed by brunch)

5:00 p.m. Meal

6:00 p.m. Vespers

The Icon of the Mother of God is coming! June 29-July 5th!

The Holy Icon of the Protection of the Mother of God, with a piece of the actual veil (also called 'omophorion') of the Mother of God herself, will be at the monastery from the evening of June 29th and leaving after Divine Liturgy on July 5th. Remember how many miracles were worked by touching a cloth from St. Paul (Acts 19:12) and the shadow of the Apostle Peter (Acts 5:15)!
